1-3 months:Let you tiny baby enjoy the cozy feel of the mat's closed border option. Move the hanging toys to the appropriate distance from baby's palm, so that when she raises her hand she can hit the toy or, later, grasp it with ease.
3-6 months:Place baby on her tummy, facing the engaging lights & music toy: playing with the toy will encourage her to extend tummy time and develop her gross motor skills
6+ months:When baby is sitting up, let her explore the mat and play with the mat's toys while in a seated position.
