It differs from the mini hot water pad because is intended for infants from 6 months
The filling is linseeds which have soothing and analgesic vitues. Small in size, they allow an optimal distribution of heat or coolness
Can be used hot or cold depending on the need or desire
When hot (thermotherapy), the water pad soothes and helps to relieve colic, stomach aches, or muscle and joint pain and contractions for mother
When cold (cryotherapy), it is best for older infants and adults because it helps to relieve toothaches, headaches, sprains, heavy leg syndrome, sore breasts or engorgement during breastfeeding
For hot use, simply warm the pouch with the flax seeds in a microwave for several seconds
For cold use, 2 hours in a freezer is sufficient
